Stargazing guide
Within the Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve, Anstey Mills sits in open farmland with wide views and little artificial light. Step onto the veranda or into the garden on a clear, moonless night and the stars come out in their thousands over the surrounding countryside. The cottage provides a Dark Skies pocket guide and binoculars to get you started, and for an even darker, wider horizon the footpath at the door leads onto open moor, with the National Park's Molland Common observation site just over five minutes away by car.
